Color Screen Concepts Back to index... The Smooth Skin Photo Wizard tries to only smooth skin colored areas. If the color balance is off, that is to say if your face is too purple, too dark or too green you may need to correct that. Use the brightness and contrast sliders first to make skin color look bright. Then slide the color balance slider back and forth. Wait for the software to compute the smoothing and then leave it set to where you get the most smoothing. The final slider will mix in face color with the colors in your photograph. In small amounts it can help remove blemishes. If you use too much it can start to make red areas like lips loose their color.
